TASER® Electronic Control Devices – Safety First

And for a large number of its products – from the TASER® M26™, X26™, X3™, X12™, XREP™, Shockwave™ to the consumer model C2™ – SBE has had an exclusive agreement to supply all of TASER’s pulse capacitor needs. It is a clear testimony to the reliability of SBE patented pulse technology.
In fact, as of March 31, 2011, TASER International has sold approximately 543,000 TASER® brand electronic control devices (ECDs) worldwide to more than 16,200 law enforcement and military agencies. More than 6,800 agencies deploy TASER ECDs specifically to all members of their patrol officers in 107 countries. In addition, approximately 236,000 TASER brand ECDs have been sold to the general public.

At the core of these ECDs is the state-of-the-art Neuro Muscular Incapacitation (NMI) technology that temporarily overrides the nervous system, taking over muscular control. This technology temporarily debilitates even the toughest individual with minimal risk of injury. In fact, TASER technology is among the safest response-to-resistance options available on the market, as documented by more than 350 research and safety reports and studies.
