Supply Chain Open House – Oct 4th

SBE, Inc. (SB Electronics), in conjunction with the Vermont Department of Economic, Housing and Community Development and Central Vermont Economic Development Corporation (CVEDC), is holding a Supply Chain Open House on Tuesday, October 4th for companies interested in providing products and services to meet the company’s present and future procurement needs.

SBE is a leading designer and manufacturer of next generation capacitor technology for the automotive, military, alternative energy, medical equipment, and power supply industries located in Barre, Vermont.

Priority areas for which they are seeking vendors include, but not limited to:
• Machining
• Plastic prototyping
• Packaging
• Shipping
• Epoxies and adhesives
• Wire including tin/zinc
• Cleaning services and property management

The event will begin at 8:30am with registration and coffee followed by introductory remarks by Governor Peter Shumlin (invited) and SBE President and CEO, Ed Sawyer. Lt. Governor Phil Scott will also attend. The event will conclude by noon. Registration is required and attendance is limited. Deadline for registration is Friday, September 30th.
