The SBE Power Ring Film Capacitor™ has many uses in high performance Power Supplies.

The examples below are actual customer requirements which have been solved by a cost effective solution. In many cases, an expensive, long lead time, oil filled, can has been replaced with the dry film technology of SBE’s Power Ring. The resulting performance improvement can be a next generation system enabler for the designer.

• A 300µF 600 Vdc capacitor with tabs oriented for bus mounting. Designed for 50 Arms continuous and 2500 A repetitive peak spikes. Check out specifications details.
• A 1500µF 600 Vdc filtering capacitor with 160 Arms ripple current rating and an over 100,000 A peak “event” survivability! Side mounted tabs for convenient rack style mounting. Check out specifications details.
